Le damos aquí una orientación sobre su tour con la información que consideramos puede ser de su interés. La información es ORIENTATIVA, pudiendo existir variaciones sobre los horarios señalados.

TRASLADOS desde el aeropuerto, si lo tiene incluido o comprado. Nuestro trasladista lo estara esperando con un cartel con el nombre de Europamundo o su nombre a la salida de aduanas (despues de recoger su equipaje).

IMPORTANTE: Si usted tuvo NOCHES ADICIONALES a su llegada al hotel tendrá su reserva realizada, pero el guía de su viaje normalmente no se encontrará hasta la noche anterior al inicio del tour. Su tiempo por tanto hasta ese momento es libre.

Welcome to Madrid!


Upon arrival at the airport, we shall be waiting to  transfer  you to your hotel. Check the informative panels in the hotel reception area for the welcome meeting with your guide and fellow travellers to receive information about the circuit. 
 

Towards the end of the day, we provide  transfers to the Egyptian Debod temple, Plaza de España and Gran Vía,  a vibrant district where you can dine at your preferred restaurant, Indian, Chinese, Spanish and Middle Eastern are some of the options.

Highlights:  Guided tour and stroll through Retiro Park. Visit to Las Ventas Bullring (admission included) and transfer to Plaza del Oriente.   

The day starts about  08.30 hrs with a comprehensive tour  through the centre of Madrid including Paseo del Prado, Cibeles, Neptuno, the Gate of Alcalá, Gran Via, Plaza de Colón and Plaza Mayor. 

Visit to Retiro Park , an oasis in the city centre, where we will see the lake and the Glass Palace. Admission to  Las Ventas Bullring included . This is one of the most famous bullrings in the world where we will learn about the tradition of “corridas” in the Bullfighting Museum. 

Enjoy the rest of the afternoon.


At sunset we provide a  transfer to Plaza de Oriente , opposite the Royal Palace, an elegant and bustling area with many restaurants serving different exquisite cuisines (Indian, Middle Eastern, Muslim, Spanish, International)  in which to enjoy a pleasant dinner. Return to hotel.

Scenery :  different landscapes on the Spanish plateau and fertile areas in Catalonia.    

07:30h Madrid – Departure. 
12:00h Zaragoza –  Arrival at this city, which stands on the banks of the river Ebro. The guide will join the group to Basilica del Pilar . Free time to visit this impressive sanctuary and have lunch in the city centre.

14:00 hrs. Zaragoza.- Departure on our way to Catalunia.
16:30 hrs. – Monastery of Poblet.  Surrounded by walls in a beautiful setting, this is one of the best preserved medieval monasteries in the world  (entrance and guided tour included) .

17:30 hrs. – Monastery of Poblet. Departure.- We cross rich agricultural regions of central Catalonia. We go to the beautiful scenery where the Benedictine abbey is located. We climb to the summit in small  rack train  to admire the fantastic landscapes

18:45 hrs. Monasterio de Montserrat. - Arrival.- Time to admire the views and visit the sanctuary where the Virgin of Montserrat, patron saint of Catalonia, is located.

19:45 hrs. Montserrat.- road exit. 
20:45 hrs. Barcelona. - Arrival. 

Important note: In   the Winter months, from November to March (both included), due to the shorter days, the Monastery of Poblet will not be visited (so that we can reach Montserrat in the daylight).

Highlights:   Barcelona Guided tour lasting 3 hours; visit to “Poble Espanyol”, with admission included; transfer to Plaza de Cataluña and the Ramblas. 

09:00h. Tour of the city with a local guide  ( note: if the group has fewer than fifteen people, explanations can be given by our guide)  who will tell us about this exciting city on the shores of the Mediterranean. We will visit the city’s historic central area with its Gothic neighborhood dating back to the Middle Ages. We will visit the area where the Olympic Games took place.  It will be possible to see and photograph La Sagrada Familia basilica; the masterpiece designed by the architect Gaudí.  

Subsequently, we include the  entry ticket to  “Poble Espanyol ” (meaning, Spanish Village), an openair museum that combines the art, traditions, architecture, arts and crafts and folklore of each of the Spanish regions. Time for lunch. Free afternoon.   

18:30h. Transfer  to Plaza de Cataluña and the Ramblas , the heart of the city, where there are many restaurants where you can dine. Return to hotel.

TODAY´S HIGHLIGHTS: We will travel on a highspeed train. 

After breakfast we arrange a  transfer (included)  to the train station. We travel on a  highspeed train.  (Note: A guide will only travel on the train ride if the group is over 15 passengers.) The train is quite comfortable and it is an enjoyable trip through wonderful landscapes. On several occasions our train will reach speeds of around 300 km/h (186 m/h). The train journey takes 6½ hours.  
 
Arrival in Paris and  transfer  to the hotel. 
18.30hrs  At the end of the evening, we provide  transfer to the Montmartre dis­trict . This neighborhood is known for its painters, artists, and its cab­arets… Sit down to dinner and enjoy a magical night. You can choose between Indian, Chinese, French and American cuisines.  We will ascend by  cable car  to the hill and admire the spectacular view of Paris from the top.
22.00hrs Return to hotel.

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS:  City tour in Paris. Boat ride along the Seine. Climb to the second floor of the Eiffel Tower. Evening transfer.

09:00h Comprehensive tour of Paris with a local guide,  visiting the Champs Elysees, Arch of Triumph, Concorde Square, Latin Quarter, Luxembourg Palace, Garnier Opera House, Louvre Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, Town Hall of Paris, Eiffel Tower, etc. Includes  admission to the second floor of the Eiffel Tower in the lift.  

Note:  S ometimes queues to climb the Eiffel Tower are long. For organizational reasons, if deemed appropriate, the climb can be made at a different moment of the day (or Monday).

The visit is followed by a spectacular  cruise on the river Seine  which divides the north of Paris from the south. Enjoy a free afternoon to explore as you choose.

At sunset enjoy the  evening transfer to “Quartier Latin ”, a very picturesque area of the historic centre where a wide variety of international cuisines await you. Return to hotel.

08.30 hrs. We go to the centre of Paris , the area of the Louvre Museum.  

Free time to stroll in the city. If you wish, we can accompany you to Benlux, one of the most complete and bestknown perfumeries in Paris.
Rest of the day free.

It will be offered for travelers who are interested, an  optional excursion to enjoy in Eurodisney .

10.45 hrs. Noyers –Llegada-. Un paseo y un café en este pequeño pueblo de origen medieval que pertenece a “los pueblos más bonitos de Francia”.

11.45 hrs. Noyers –salida-.
13.15 hrs. Beaune .- Encantadora pequeña población en el centro de la región del vino de Borgoña; sus calles llenas de flores, su hospicio, su museo del vino. Tiempo para pasear. Almuerzo incluido.

15.00 hrs. Beaune –salida-.
17.00 hrs. Lyon –Llegada -. A orillas del río Ródano, la tercera ciudad de Francia fue la capital de lo que fue  la Galia Romana. Ciudad con mucha vida y un centro histórico que ha sido declarado patrimonio de la humanidad. Tiempo libre para conocer.

08.oo hrs Lyon- Departure. We have a beautiful stage.  We travel to Switzerland. 
 
10.00 hrs GENEVA,   arrival to this active city on the shores of Lake Geneva, the capital of French-speaking Switzerland.  With our guide, we go to the Palais des Nations (the United Nations headquarters in Europe) and then to the beautiful “Jardin Anglais” with its flower clock, and admire the “Jet d,Eau”, the tallest fountain in Europe.

13.00 hrs After lunch, we will continue through Switzerland passing the beautiful Leman and Neuchatel Lakes ( note:  d epending on the number of travellers from Geneva to Zürich, this trip might be done by train). 


17.00 hrs ZURICH  – Arrival. We will be able to stroll in the city center and enjoy a dinner in one of its nice restaurants.

08.30 hrs With our guide, we will stroll in the most populated city of Switzerland, the financial and cultural capital of the country. The city of banks has twice been declared the city with the best quality of life in the world. 
10.30 hrs After this we will board a  boat for a trip  lasting almost two hours  on Zurich lake . The boat makes brief stops, allowing us to admire the villages on the way. 

12.30 hrs We get off in  RAPPERSWILL,  a small and highly picturesque village overlooked by its mediaeval castle. Time to walk and have lunch.

15.00 hrs  We  return to Zurich by train , and will see the efficiency and punctuality of the Swiss Railways. 

16.30 hrs Enjoy an evening in the historic centre, next to the lake, where you can dine at your favorite restaurant (Indian, Oriental, Italian, International, Swiss, etc.). 

Note:  From the end of October, due to the decrease of boat departures, the stage will be reversed going first by train from Zurich to Rapperswill and then by boat from Rapperswill to Zurich.

Note:  Due to weather conditions (strong wind) or maintenance reasons, the cable car may not operate at any time. If this happens, we will provide an alternative lift to another similar place.


08.00 hrs  Zurich- departure to a spectacular stage with beautiful landscapes with high mountains and lakes. 

10.30 hrs. Grindelwald.   Time to have a coffee in this mountain resort in the Bernese Alps before taking the  cable car to Grindelwald First (ticket included),  the largest ski center in the region. We will  walk along the path (30 minutes) i n which we will have the opportunity in breathtaking alpine landscapes to take the "footbridge over the emptiness" enjoying the glaciers that surround us;  Lunch included f or all passengers (vegetarian option available).

13.15 hrs Grndenwald  departure.  We continue to Lucerne.
15.00 hrs Lucerne - arrival in time to explore one of the most interesting Swiss cities and see the KapellBrück, covered bridge over the river Reuss, the Town Hall and Square with its Clock Tower and its pedestrian streets and elegant shops. Time to stroll, enjoy the city and dine before returning to the hotel in Zurich.

19:00 h. Return to Zurich.
20.00 h. Zurich  - Zurich.

Scenery:  beautiful Alpine landscapes of mountains and lakes. Take the camera by hand. 
Notes:  Bring your passport. There may be border controls when entering Italy      

08.00 hrs. Zurich – Departure.  Crossing the Swiss Plateau. 
09.15 hrs. Burglen .- Arrival to the tiny village where William Tell was born. We shall see the chapel of the XVI century with paintings illustrating his life.   

10.00 hrs. Burglen- Departure.- Spectacular landscapes crossing the Alps by motorway. We enter the Italian-speaking Switzerland. 
12.00 hrs – Morcote.  Arrival to this very picturesque village by Lake Lugarno, with its stone houses covered with flowers.       

13.00 h. Morcote – Departure for the Italian border.   
13.45 hrs. Como-  on the shores of its lake, a bustling Italian town with an outstanding Gothic cathedral and life on the shore. Time to have a stroll and for lunch.      

15.45 hrs. Como, departure.  
16.45 h. Milan  – Arrival, our guide will take us to the impressive Duomo Square. There will be time to dine at the Porta Venecia (Port of Venice) where an outstanding variety of restaurants can be found to delight your palate. From restaurants serving Swiss and Italian food, to French, Chinese and international food. Transfer to hotel.   Transfer to hotel about 20.00 hrs.

Scenery:   surprising scenery along the coast of Liguria and the Tuscan Apennines.  


08.00 hrs  We leave the Italian financial capital towards Pisa.
11.30 hrs Pisa  –On a little  touristic train  we will travel to the Piazza Dei Miracoli (Square of Miracles) where there will be time to admire one of the most alluring and beautiful art complexes in Italy, including the well-known Leaning Tower of Pisa.  

13.30 hrs Pisa – Departure for Rome, passing through ancient Etruscan regions. 
20:15 h. Rome  Arrival.


Note:  This stage may have a different schedule (arriving somewhat later to Pisa and Rome) for the meeting enroute of travelers coming from Nice.

Highlights:   city tour of Rome. Roman Coliseum (admission price included) and Vatican City.

The morning starts with an early interesting  city tour of the “Eternal City”,  in which we will visit the Caracalla Baths, Venice Square, Circo Massimo, the Capitoline Hill and St. John Lateran. We enter the tiny state of the Vatican. The Vatican City is a principal centre of Christianity in the world. You will be able to visit St. Peter’s Basilica.   Admission to the Coliseum included . This building, which dates from the first century, was built for the purpose of organising entertainment for the Romans, such as gladiator combats. We have the chance to learn about the ancient society of the Roman Empire.

18:30 h. Transfer to Via Cavour , which has many local restaurants and others that serve international cuisine, including Indian and Chinese. Return to hotel.

Scenery :  Apennine Mountains and Tuscan vineyards. 
Note:   We recommend you wear comfortable shoes as the tour of Florence involves walking.    

08:00h Rome – Departure, passing through the Tiber Valley. 
12:15h Florence –  Our first contact with the Renaissance city is  Piazzale Michelangelo,  a viewpoint with marvellous views of the city. Don’t forget to take your camera! 
Walking tour with local guide,  lasting two and a half hours. We visit the Duomo, Piazza della Signoria, Ponte Vechio, Straw Market,  Piazza Republica, Palacio Vecchio. Free afternoon to explore and visit the city’s historical markets and museums.

The city has many restaurants that offer a wide variety of local and international food, where you can dine. Return to hotel.

Scenery:   we cross the Apennines and the Po Valley.    

08.15h Florencia – Departure, passing through mountain scenery. 
12:00 h Venice  – Arrival at Tronchetto Gate where we take the  boat  and cross the Grand Canal to the Island of Venice.  Comprehensive tour with a local guide  to St. Mark’s Square and the interior of  St, Mark’s Basilica (admission included).  Visit to the Murano Glass Factory where we will see a demonstration of how this ancient glass is made. Free afternoon.
 
19:00h Return to firm land and transfer to hotel. Dinner in the Mestre district, which has many local and international restaurants.

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS:  Breathtaking alpin landscapes. Dinner included.  

08.00 hrs. Venice – Departure, crossing the Po Valley travelling to Austria. 
13.00 hrs. Innsbruck.-  Time to stroll in the historic centre of Innsbruck.   

15.30 hrs. Departure after lunch. We travel along a very pretty scenic road between the mountains.   
17.00 hrs  KITZBÜHEL  – Arrival and time to see this picturesque little village, a famous ski resort where we can enjoy the snow for a large part of the year! Free time. Transfer to the hotel and dinner included (vegetarian option possible). 

Note:   In case of few travellers on the trip, the journey from Venice to Innsbruck may be done by a train. 

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS:  Salzburg, the city of Mozart. Fantastic scenery. Cruise on a lake.

Note:   We recommend you to take warm clothes to enjoy on the deck during the boat ride.  The schedules in winter time might be modified in order to take advantage of sunlight. 

08.00 hrs Kitzbühel- Departure. We travel between mountains.
10.00 hrs Salzburg - Arrival. Our guide accompanies us to the most beautiful streets of the historic centre of this city declared a World Heritage site and have lunch.

13.00 hrs. Salzburg- Departure. We then go on our way between lakes and mountains. A very beautiful scenic stage in the Alps.

14.00 hrs. St. Wolfgang.  A famous place by a lake of pilgrimage in Austria.
15.00 hrs St. Wolfgang- Departure.-

15.45 hrs Traunkirchen.  Time to stroll in this beautiful city with its nice churches and streets along with the very beautiful  TRAUNSEE lake , where at around 16.30 hrs,  we include a cruise on the lake  to see four castles on the mountains and disembarking in Gmunden.


17.30. Gmunden- Departure and continuation to the capital of Austria.
20.45 hrs. Vienna-  Arrival. 

Highlights: City tour of Vienna. Vienna gardens of the immense Schönbrunn Palace. Evening transfer. 

09.00 hrs. Vienna - start with a  scenic sightseeing  tour of Vienna to know the most important places of interest including the Opera , the Museum of Fine Arts and Natural History , Parliament , the Royal Theatre , City Hall and the University. Passing by the Church of San Carlos, we arrive to the Belvedere Palace where we will walk through the gardens from where we are offered a fabulous view of the city. ( If the English-speaking group has fewer than fifteen people, the tour can be conducted in both English and Spanis h).  

Directly afterwards, we head the  Schönbrunn Palace  where visitors can stroll around and enjoy its beautiful gardens.

In the evening we go to the  City Hall Square  to enjoy the lighting and the nightlife in the neighbouring streets, and where we will have dinner with cuisines from around the world (including Austrian,  Chinese , Indian and Italian). Return to hotel. 

Total distance: 245km       
Scenery:  We travel through the beautiful Pannonian Basin to the Hungarian capital.     
Note:   We remind you that the currency of Hungary is the Forint. It is advisable to pay in local currency during your stay.  If the number of passengers in very small, the journey can be made by train.   


08:30 h. Vienna – Departure following the course of the Danube to Hungary. We have a little under a 3hours- trip to Budapest.
11:30 h. Budapest  – Arrival.  Relax and discover the city on  a boat tour along the Danube river;  the views of the city and parliament are impressive. Time for lunch after the tour.

14.30 hrs Guided tour of the “Queen of the Danube” lasting three hours. Visit to the two areas of the city that are separated by the Danube: with historic "Buda" on one side and cosmopolitan "Pest" on the opposite bank. We will know the elegant Pest quarter, the city’s administrative, commercial and leisure district and Heroes’ Square, the Parliament, the Opera House and the elegant boulevards; and the historical Hill of Buda with St. Matthew’s Cathedral, the Fisherman’s Bastion and Habsburg Palace.  Leisure time after the tour. 

At sunset, there will be time at the end of the day in the lively area of  VACI UTCA , where there are lots of little restaurants with food from different countries (Indian, Chinese, Hungarian, Italian).  Return to hotel .

08.00 hrs Departure from Budapest.
10.30 hrs Bratislava.  We will get to the capital of Slovakia and a city alongside the Danube with an attractive historic centre. Time to see the city and have lunch.

14.30 hrs. We well leave Bratislava to continue on our way to the Czech Republic.
18.30 hrs Prague,   Arrival in the evening and transfer t o the  Old Town Square . This central location is full of energy and touristic activities. It’s a marvellous place to acquaint ourselves with Prague. Several restaurants offering cuisines from around the world will be waiting to delight your taste buds, including Czech, Chinese, Indian and Italian. Return to hotel.

Today’s highlights:  c ity tour of Prague. Visit to Castle. Boat tour along the river Vltava. Evening transfer. 
Note:   We recommend you wear comfortable shoes during the walking tour.   


07.45 h. Comprehensive tour .  Lasting three hours and a half. The tour starts off from the “ Caste l Quarter” ( admission included) , the political, religious and monumental centre of the capital, and the cathedral, the palaces and viewpoints over the “city of the 100 towers” and explains the history of the country. We then continue our walk through the “Small City” or “Malastrana Quarter”, the city’s Baroque jewel, to the famous “Charles Bridge”. 

The city tour  is followed by a  monumental cruise  on the river Vltava. 
Free afternoon to continue exploring the city.

In the evening, we enjoy time in the historic  city centre  and there will be an opportunity for you to enjoy cuisines from around the world.  Return to hotel.
